The definition of violence is: the act of purposefully hurting someone. Every year, 1 in 12 high schools are injured or threatened
with a weapon. Violence itself can be started by a number of things. Gang activity, peer pressure, drug involvement, or
even problems at home can sometimes lead to violence. More kids are killed by guns in North America each year than all killed
in 9-11.
